Our Story

Who We Are.

Experience Our Outreach

Today ICARE Operation along with partners such as Hope in Love Ministries was able provide food, clothes, blankets and socks etc to assist the Homeless on Dallas street.

Since 2009, we have volunteered in Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) homeless shelters, serving the homeless on the streets of DFW with food and clothing; helping organize and participate in health fairs for the under served communities, delivered meals on wheels and our passion for helping the homeless and the under-served communities saw the launching and founding of ICare Operation in 2015. While serving as volunteers, we observed the needs of the homeless were food and water. Besides food and water there is a constant request for a clean pair of socks. We reach out to the homeless and under served communities by providing basic needs of food and clothing items with a major focus on the one item that is mostly needed yet the least donated .

How Do People Become Homeless?

Some people become homeless because of personal choices or life events that occur; we call those reasons individual factors such as illness, drug abuse, domestic violence, divorce just to name a few. Other people become homeless because of systemic issues that are risks for all of us, we call those reasons structural factors such as limited income / underemployment or lack of housing. No one wakes up and says, “I want to be homeless today”.

How we impact Communities

SOCKS

Every year our target is to collect and distribute 10,000 plus pairs of socks to the homeless. We are constantly working to receive and distribute socks in our local communities that serve the homeless. Socks are among the most needed items by the homeless yet the least-often donated. Join us to meet this need.

FOOD & BEVERAGE

We have a passion for the under served who are homeless and we reach out to them by providing basic needs of food, beverages, toiletries and clothing items. Join us to meet the basic needs of our homeless.

MEDICAL CAMPS

We seek to work with synergistic partners to provide for free medical health fairs in the rural parts of Kenya.

Your Local ICare Operation

Our services bring smiles and help meet the needs of the homeless residing at shelters, on the streets, under the bridges and aid to help as the homeless transition to rebuild life.
